TikTok has introduced new tools and initiatives to help users identify and better understand AI-generated content as the platform expands its efforts to promote transparency and responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI).

The short-form video platform said the updates include expanded AI literacy programs, stronger detection systems targeting AI-generated spam, and deeper partnerships to improve content labeling.

Among the new initiatives is a collaboration with the National Association for Media Literacy Education and AI expert Henry Ajder to develop educational resources that encourage responsible use of AI tools.

TikTok is also expanding partnerships with organizations such as NoFiltr and the Raspberry Pi Foundation to produce educational content about artificial intelligence. Since the program launched in November 2025, expert-created videos have generated more than 200 million views, supported by more than $4 million in funding from the platform.
