Epson unveils high-speed SureColor F20030 textile printer

Epson has expanded its industrial dye-sublimation printer lineup with the launch of the SureColor F20030, a 76-inch printer designed for high-volume textile production as demand for digital printing continues to grow across Southeast Asia.

The new printer features an eight-printhead PrecisionCore MicroTFP architecture, doubling the printheads of its predecessor, the SureColor F11030, and delivering print speeds of up to 306 square meters per hour.

According to Epson, the SC-F20030 is built for textile manufacturers and print-on-demand providers handling short-run, customized, and high-throughput production.

The printer also features a 10-liter bulk ink system with hot-swap functionality, allowing operators to replace empty ink packs without interrupting production.

To improve reliability, the SC-F20030 includes an integrated drying system, dust-reduction mechanism, and optional jumbo roll units supporting media loads of up to 300 kilograms for longer production runs.

Epson also introduced user self-repair functions, enabling operators to replace selected components such as printheads and anti-drying caps to reduce downtime and service costs.
