Ma's cancer devastates Awra

Awra Briguela got emotionally devastated after learning the breast cancer diagnosis of her mom Marivic Briguela.

Still reeling from her healing journey after going through rhinoplasty, Briguela shared a short reel on her Instagram Wednesday, 15 July which started with a prayer.

"Lord God, sana maging successful ang operation ng Mama ko, sana gumaling din ako ng maayos. Sana mabilis ang recovery namin.

"Sana walang mai-infection. Sana Lord God, magiging maayos ang lahat. Sana mag-align na stars ko universe. This we pray in Jesus' name, Amen," she said in her prayer.

Briguela shared she was already told by the doctor that her mom has breast cancer. And because she's still healung from her newly-operated nose, she was advised by her mom's doctor not to cry. She was also told that her mom's breasts would be removed.

With this, Briguela cried.
