Programmed centralizes vendor management with Boomi platform

Programmed has modernized its vendor management system using Boomi’s Enterprise Platform, creating a centralized database that improves compliance, data quality and operational efficiency across the company.

The Australasian operations, staffing and maintenance services provider manages more than 18,000 active vendors supporting over 10,000 customers across industries including mining, government, education and infrastructure.

Previously, vendor information was spread across multiple business units and systems, leading to duplicate compliance checks and inconsistent records.

Using Boomi Data Hub and Boomi Integration, Programmed established a single source of truth that connects vendor onboarding, compliance, finance and operational systems. The platform also provides near real-time updates, helping teams access accurate vendor information while reducing manual data entry and reconciliation.

Programmed worked with Boomi partner Adaptiv to integrate its vendor management platform with Rapid Global, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, and procurement systems.

According to Programmed, the new platform has improved visibility across the vendor lifecycle, strengthened compliance management and reduced administrative work, allowing procurement and operations teams to make faster, more informed decisions.

With additional integrations planned, the company said the project has become a model for its broader digital transformation strategy, providing a scalable foundation for future growth.
