15 arrested, P281K in shabu seized in Bulacan police operations

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police arrested 15 individuals, including high-priority fugitives, and seized more than P281,000 worth of suspected shabu during a series of anti-crime operations across Bulacan from 9 to 12 July.

The Bulacan Police Provincial Office conducted buy-bust operations, served arrest warrants, and launched intelligence-driven manhunts in several towns and cities.

On 10 July, police arrested 10 drug suspects in separate operations in Pandi, Pulilan, Balagtas, Meycauayan, Angat, Bocaue, and Plaridel, confiscating 26 sachets of suspected shabu worth P210,460.

The following day, authorities apprehended five more alleged drug pushers in Malolos and Hagonoy and recovered about 10.4 grams of suspected shabu valued at P70,720. The suspects face charges under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

Police also arrested three wanted persons, including Sta. Maria's top wanted suspect for acts of lasciviousness, a Malolos suspect facing syndicated illegal recruitment and estafa charges, and Bocaue's second most wanted individual, who was ordered to serve a sentence for drug-related offenses.

"Running from the law won't work here. We'll keep going after fugitives and drug groups to keep Bulacan safe and orderly for everyone," said PCOL Jay B. Baybayan, acting provincial director of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office.

Authorities urged the public to continue reporting suspicious activities to help maintain peace and order in the province.
