Rekomendasyon sa fuel excise tax, isusumite ng DBCC

Isusumite ngayong araw ng Development Budget Coordination Committee (DBCC) kay Pangulong Bongbong Marcos ang kanilang rekomendasyon tungkol sa fuel excise tax.

Ito ay kasunod ng isinagawang pag-aaral ng DBCC, na binubuo ng Department of Budget and Management, Department of Finance, Department of Economy, Planning and Development, at Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, hinggil sa mga epekto ng patuloy na pagtaas ng presyo ng langis.

Ayon kay Palace Press Officer Claire Castro, hinihintay ni Pangulong Marcos ang resulta ng pag-aaral ng DBCC upang magsilbing batayan sa paggamit ng kanyang emergency powers, partikular kung sususpindihin o babawasan ang excise tax sa petrolyo.
