Streaming platform HBO Max is rolling out a packed slate of content this April, headlined by award-winning films, returning fan-favorite series, and fresh original programming.
Among the most anticipated releases is the third season of the HBO Original drama Euphoria, starring Zendaya and Jacob Elordi, which premieres on 13 April, with a same-day HBO telecast at 11 p.m. The platform will also stream recent winners from the 98th Academy Awards, including Sinners, One Battle After Another, and Weapons.
Movie offerings this month include survival drama Not Without Hope, debuting 10 April (with an HBO airing on 11 April at 9 p.m.), the romantic feature Regretting You starring Mckenna Grace and Dave Franco on 17 April, and horror sequel Black Phone 2, featuring Mason Thames and Ethan Hawke, arriving 24 April (with an HBO broadcast on 25 April at 10 p.m.).
On the series front, the Max Original comedy Hacks returns for its fifth season on 10 April, while Korean romantic comedy Yumi’s Cells, led by Kim Go-eun, makes its third-season debut on 13 April. Animated favorite Mr. Bean: The Animated Series will also drop new episodes for its fourth season beginning 27 April.
Viewers can also tune in weekly for new episodes of HBO Originals Rooster, starring Steve Carell, and The Comeback season three, headlined by Lisa Kudrow, every Monday.
Meanwhile, several series will wrap up this month, including DTF St. Louis on 13 April, The Pitt season two on 17 April, The Village Barber on 18 April, and Mad Concrete Dreams on 19 April.
Reality programming is also in focus, with Expedition Unknown seasons 15 and 16 premiering 8 April, followed by Chef Grudge Match and 90 Day Fiancé UK season four on 11 April. Later in the month, Dangerously Obese season two arrives on 26 April, while Border Control: Spain season eight premieres 29 April.
