Authorities arrested four suspects, including a high value individual (HVI), and seized P340,000-worth of illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation at Sitio Kalayakan, Brgy. Kalawakan in the town of Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan on 1 March 2026.
According to the Doña Remedios Trinidad Municipal Police Station (DRT MPS), its Station Drug Enforcement Unit led the operation along with operatives from the San Miguel MPS, 301st Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3, Bulacan PDEA RO3, and the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit.
Confiscated from the suspects include 50 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P340,000, the marked money, a glass pouch, an improvised shotgun with two bullets, a caliber.45 pistol with two live ammo, a caliber .38 with two bullets, one Mitsubishi Strada and Rusi motorcycle.
The suspects will face charges of violating R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, particularly Sections 5, 11, and 26, as well as R.A. 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
The confiscated pieces of evidence were taken to the Doña Remedios Trinidad MPS for proper documentation and disposition.
