SMX Convention Center expanded its events portfolio with the fourth-quarter 2026 openings of three new SMX Trade Halls in Luzon. The new venues, owned and managed by SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation (SMHCC), are located in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija; Santo Tomas, Batangas; and Santa Rosa, Laguna.
The three new trade halls add more than 13,000 square meters of leasable exhibition space, increasing SMX’s capacity to host trade shows, corporate events, and community gatherings outside Metro Manila. The venues are positioned in commercial hubs to meet regional demand while supporting nationwide event growth.
The openings complement SMX’s existing portfolio, which includes flagship venues such as SMX Convention Center Seaside Cebu and SMXCITE (Center for International Trade and Exhibitions). Together, these developments expand the company’s reach in the Philippine MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry.
The new trade halls feature flexible layouts and modern infrastructure, integrated with nearby retail and hospitality developments. SMHCC said the spaces are designed to accommodate events of various sizes while providing convenience for clients.
