The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board has imposed a one-year suspension on three transport network companies for failing to comply with franchise guidelines and regulatory directives.

LTFRB Chairperson Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II said the agency issued show cause orders to Leggo Information Technology Solutions, Get Express Global Corporation and Ipara Technology Solutions, Inc. after observing violations of franchise conditions.

According to Mendoza, the companies failed to comply with the directives stated in the show cause orders, prompting the agency to impose sanctions.

“This is what happens when you ignore or disregard legal notices from the LTFRB, you will suffer the consequences of your actions,” Mendoza stressed.

The LTFRB said its findings showed that the three TNCs lacked an “active and internet-based digital technology” that users could utilize, a requirement under existing regulations.

Mendoza said the suspension serves as a reminder that the agency is firm in enforcing its rules and regulations.

He urged the riding public to refrain from transacting with the suspended companies and to stay updated on advisories posted on official LTFRB platforms.

“The public is likewise advised to exercise caution and to verify the regulatory status of service providers before engaging their services,” he said.

The LTFRB reiterated that compliance with franchise conditions is mandatory and warned operators that failure to follow directives could result in penalties, including suspension or revocation of authority to operate.
