Some 1,900 students from public and private colleges, universities, and senior high received educational assistance from the Provincial Government during the “Tulong Pang-Edukasyon para sa Bulakenyo” General Assembly held at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium, on 26 February 2026.

According to the Provincial Government, each student enrolled in state universities/colleges and public senior high schools received P3,000, while student studying in private institutions received P3,500.

These financial assistances were directly credited to the beneficiaries’ Landbank ATM cards and could be withdrawn immediately on the same day thru their own Landbank Piso Accounts. These accounts ensure that students will have a secure and accessible savings account that they can use for educational and personal financial needs.

Aside from receiving educational assistance and opening their Landbank Piso Accounts, the students also participated in orientation sessions on financial literacy, gender sensitivity, stress management, and mental health awareness, equipping them with practical knowledge beyond the classroom.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando emphasized that education remains one of the top priorities of the Provincial Government and that investing in the youth is an investment in the future of Bulacan.

“Patuloy po tayong gagawa ng mga programang pang-edukasyon na magpapagaan sa kanilang pinansyal na pasanin at susuporta sa kanilang paglalakbay sa edukasyon tungo sa pagtupad ng kanilang mga pangarap,” Fernando said.
