Looks like superstar Kathryn Bernardo and Lucena Mayor Mark Alcala are doing a soft launch of their romance.
Recent sighting of them while inside a mall was well-documented, complete with pictures and videos.
A more recent photo surfaced, showing them dining at Chef Jessie in Powerplant Mall, Makati City.
And recent reports show they’re no longer hiding whatever is between them as they’re now following each other on Instagram.
Last Monday, 23 February, was Alcala’s birthday and as we write this, no photos of his celebration has surfaced on social media.
Last Valentine’s Day, Bernardo and Alcala were reported to have celebrated the occasion with their families in a farm in the South.
Interestingly, in a recent corporate event, Bernardo expressed her gratitude to fans and the unwavering trust of some brands.
“Because they trust me with the projects that I do, the way how I want to present myself and even the decisions I make, even if they don’t always agree and I think doon na pumapasok ‘yung respeto na ‘di ba (and that’s where respect comes in, right?), that if you really trust me, you have to allow me to grow, you have to allow me to make mistakes and learn from my mistakes,” she said.
“So na-a-appreciate ko na ‘yung fans ko binibigay sa akin ‘yung tiwala na ‘yun and also the brands na nakakatrabaho ko na (I appreciate my fans who give me trust and also the brands I work with) they don’t try to change me, parang they just give me the support and they let you fly. So I’m just really grateful and ‘yung trust na talagang bini-value ko at pinoprotektahan ko (that’s the trust that I really value and protect) more than anything. So I’m just grateful for my fans na nag-stay with me through the good times, especially at the not-so-good times,” she added.
Sarah Geronimo, John Lloyd Cruz to reunite in a movie
This early, some quarters are harping about the reunion movie of Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz.
The comeback movie of the two will be a collaboration effort of Viva Films and GMA Pictures.
Geronimo and Cruz starred in a romantic-comedy trilogy, A Very Special Love in 2008, You Changed My Life in 2009 and It Takes a Man and a Woman in 2013.
It was during one of these movies where Cruz courted Geronimo and they nearly became a couple had it not been for the actress’ mom, Divine Geronimo, who was openly against it.
Coco Martin elevates action in last three weeks of ‘Batang Quiapo’
“Primetime King” Coco Martin proudly remarked that the highly-anticipated finale of the Philippines’ most watched teleserye since 2023, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, will make a mark in the history of television for its action-packed quality production and storytelling.
“Hindi ko bibiguin ang mga manonood. Gusto ko deserve nila ‘yung ending, ‘yung hindi pa nila napapanood at nakikita. Hindi pa nae-experience ng mga manonood ang mapapanood nila sa ‘Batang Quiapo.’ Sobrang lalaki ng mga eksena. Unexpected (I will not disappoint the viewers. I want them to deserve the ending, the one they have not watched or seen. They have not experienced what they’re going to see in Batang Quiapo. The.scenes are big),” he said in an interview with TV Patrol.
ABS-CBN gave viewers a glimpse of its hard-hitting action scenes in an explosive trailer and cinematic first look stills, which feature a mix of do-or-die face-offs and emotionally-charged confrontations, for the show’s last three weeks as Tanggol (Martin) confronts the ultimate battle of his life.
It shows Tanggol in a series of blood-curling encounters against his biggest enemy Rigor (John Estrada), and how he will storm into enemy territory at the city hall as citizens rally behind him with the goal of dethroning the corrupt political clan of the Guerreros to claim his rightful position as mayor.
Apart from the action, viewers can also expect heart-wrenching drama for one of the most emotional scenes in the series when Tanggol’s best friends are forced into a life-threatening situation that may ruin their friendship forever.
