‘Noon, Ngayon, at Bukas’ mural debuts for EDSA anniversary
PEOPLE POWER AT 40
Artist Anthony Jandusay applies primer to the mural “Noon, Ngayon, at Bukas—Tayo ang People Power” at the EDSA Shrine, formally known as the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of Peace, Our Lady of EDSA, on Sunday, 22 February 2026, in Quezon City.
Led by the art collective “Team Birks,” also known as the #BlackandYellowMovement, the mural portrays key moments from the nation’s past and present, along with the group’s vision for the future.
The lineup of artists includes Ted Camahalan, Al Vergel Frias, Abigail Bulan, Rara Carillo and Jandusay.
The installation will be displayed outside the shrine until 25 February to mark the 40th anniversary of the peaceful uprising that led to the ouster of former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. | Aram Lascano
