Converge continues to beef up its roster heading into the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup opening on 11 March.

The FiberXers have acquired the services of Kapampangan players Jonnel Policarpio and Kurt Reyson in a three-team trade, pending official approval that involved NLEX and Meralco.

Converged got Policarpio from NLEX in exchange for Schonny Winston and Kevin Racal, while they shipped Javee Mocon to Meralco and a future draft pick for Reyson.

Mocon was moved by NLEX to Converge which the FiberXers used to land Reyson from Meralco.

“We are truly grateful to Javee and Jonnel for their professionalism and commitment during their time with NLEX. Javee brought leadership to our locker room, while Jonnel showed great potential and energy from day one,” said NLEX Road Warriors team governor Ronald T. Dulatre.

“We thank them for their contributions to the Road Warriors and wish them nothing but success in the next chapter of their careers.”

Converge, handled by Pampanga vice governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, has solidified its Kapampangan connection by adding Policarpio and Reyson.

Other Pampanga homegrown talents suiting up for the FiberXers are Calvin Abueva and Justine Baltazar along with Archie Concepcion, MJ Garcia and Ronan Santos.
