After decades as one of Philippine entertainment’s most enduring figures, Sharon Cuneta announced she is forming a new company that will directly manage her career, schedules and creative projects.
In a Facebook post addressed to colleagues, producers and supporters, the singer-actress said the company — whose name has yet to be announced — will oversee her professional direction moving forward.
“I am so pleased to announce that I will finally be putting up a new company (will announce name soon) that will manage my career, schedules, and projects.”
Cuneta said longtime music producer Eloisa Matias will join the venture effective immediately, handling corporate guestings, musical shows and the production of creative content.
“Joining this company to represent me, manage my corporate guestings and musical shows, produce and/or help mount most of my creative content and music effective IMMEDIATELY is my dear friend and longtime music producer, ELOISA MATIAS.”
The two have worked together since the late 1980s, beginning with “The Sharon Cuneta Show” and later collaborating on major concerts and albums.
“We go way back in 1988 as she was my Music Researcher on the The Sharon Cuneta Show… She was also my creative and music producer of my major concerts like my 25th anniversary concert, The MegaEvent, My 40 Years, Dear Heart, among others and five of my albums…”
“She brings her almost four decades of musical experience in the television and music industry.”
Also joining the team is Maricar Ong, who has served as Cuneta’s executive assistant since 2011 and handles television and film coordination.
“Also already in my team is MARICAR ONG… She has been my Executive Assistant since 2011 and is in charge of my TV guestings, TV shows, and movie projects.”
Cuneta expressed enthusiasm about the new structure and invited collaborators to coordinate future projects through the new management setup.
“I am very excited to work with them and please join me in giving them a warm welcome.”
The move signals a shift toward greater control over her creative and business decisions, consolidating long-standing professional relationships under a company she now leads.
