Bacoor City infrastructure gains momentum

DT

Infrastructure development and community engagement initiatives are driving growth in Bacoor City under the administration of Mayor Strike Revilla, according to local officials and residents.

The city’s progress is currently highlighted by the expansion of the LRT-1 extension project. Revilla recently conducted an on-site inspection of demolition activities in Barangay Zapote Uno to clear the way for the transit line. Once completed, the extension is expected to reduce travel time between Cavite and Metro Manila.

"Thank you for your trust and love," Revilla said during a recent address to constituents. "The people of Bacoor City are my inspiration."

The mayor has maintained a visible presence through regular Facebook Live broadcasts, using the platform to provide updates on municipal projects.

These digital town halls have drawn significant engagement from residents, who often use the forum to voice support for local initiatives.

Community members have noted the mayor’s field-based approach to governance.

Residents Harry and Gado, who live in the area, described Revilla as "tireless," noting his presence at construction sites and his participation in local community services, regardless of weather conditions.

The administration’s current strategy focuses on a blend of large-scale infrastructure and grassroots social services to maintain the city's upward trajectory.
