MISAMIS ORIENTAL — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) continues its price monitoring and consumer education programs in Northern Mindanao (NM) to address inflation and maintain market stability. Julie Nieva-Costales, DTI-10 regional information officer, said the agency regularly tracks prices and supply of basic commodities like canned goods, noodles, bottled water and candles. Information campaigns also inform consumers of their rights and suggested retail prices, while retailers are briefed on updates and SRP adjustments, helping households plan their budgets.
DTI also supports micro, small and medium enterprises through capacity-building programs on financial management, entrepreneurship and business operations.
