Nafarrete and AFPMBAI President and CEO Rear Admiral Dorvin Jose L. Legaspi (Ret.) led the ceremonial signing and turnover of various pulmonology and ophthalmology equipment that will be used by the General Hospital, Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group (GH, HHSG).
Army Vice Commander Maj. Gen. Efren F. Morados said in his remarks, "The strength, bravery and dedication we see in our soldiers are sustained not only by training and discipline, but by the assurance that their health and well-being are protected. This is especially so in times of recovery from sickness and injury. Each of these items directly contribute to our military treatment facilities’ capability to respond to the evolving healthcare needs of our personnel and their families."
Lt. Gen. Antonio G. Nafarrete has emphasized his focus on ensuring the health and well-being of soldiers and civilian human resources as a key part of his "Our Personnel, Our Strength" command guidance.
