It was a gathering that mirrored the very essence of its name — an encounter of creative minds, a convergence of vision and a chic celebration of the Filipino spirit.
The newly restored Likhang Filipino Exhibition Halls — the nation’s latest bastion for the creative industry — served as the pristine backdrop for “Pagtatagpo.” This landmark exhibition, a collaboration between the premier Salcedo Auctions, Vetted and Fashion Aid Philippines, marked a sophisticated first for the venue.
At the heart of the hall stood the works of Lynyrd Paras, Vien Valencia and Marco Santos. While each artist occupies a distinct orbit in their career, their dialogue across diverse mediums felt seamless — a thoughtful conversation on purpose and inquiry that resonated throughout the gallery.
The vernissage was nothing short of a cultural milestone, heightened by the presence of First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, who led the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Joining her in the spotlight were Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Cristina Aldeguer-Roque, Salcedo Auctions’ Richie and Karen Lerma and Patrick Rosas of Fashion Aid Philippines.
In true DAILY TRIBUNE fashion, the evening proved that when art and advocacy meet, the result is always a masterpiece of community and style.
