Inclusive wellness beyond basic human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) testing is offered by Luxecare, the private clinic of LoveYourself Inc.
At the opening of its sixth branch in the gateway to the South, the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), LoveYourself’s founder Ronivin Pagtakhan said the brand vows to successfully scale its operations without compromising quality, consistency, or the personalized client experience that has become its hallmark, centered on its core principles of “iniingatan, inaalagaan, at inaasikaso.”
Pagtakhan announced that free testing services for HIV, hepatitis and syphilis are offered across all their branches.
Luxecare offers transluxe, which has progressed beyond its long-standing and initial HIV and STI testing services. In partnership with LoveYourself Inc., the clinic now provides Gender-Affirming Hormone Therapy (GAHT) consultations, ensuring that trans Filipinos receive expert, compassionate medical guidance throughout their transition journey.
Breaking the stigma
Filipino actor and Luxecare ambassador Markki Stroem’s advocacy is rooted from his experiences in other nations where testing for sexually transmitted infections and diseases is not considered ‘taboo’ and administered for free.
Stroem, who echoes his cause in his morning radio show by encouraging people to get tested, said, “Back then, it was a death sentence, now it is not.”
Luxecare Senior Medical Doctor Dr. Angelo Rivera then addressed the higher detected HIV cases, noting that more people are getting tested, hence the numbers.
The PITX branch is located in the Health & Wellness Area on the second floor. Other branches are along Shaw Blvd in Mandaluyong, San Mateo, Rizal and Alabang.
Aside from their branches in Quezon City and Pasay, LoveYourself’s services are also available in Baguio, Lapu-lapu City in Cebu and Davao City.
