University of Perpetual Help System Dalta banked on the solid performance of Sherrie Rose Acosta to pull off a 25-18, 25-6 win over Jose Rizal University in Season 101 National Collegiate Athletic Association girls’ volleyball tournament on Thursday at the Arellano University gym in Pasay City.
Acosta tallied nine points, two digs and one reception while Ellizha Sildo chipped in seven markers built on five attacks, a block and an ace for the Junior Lady Altas, who secured their fourth straight victory.
Ramiel Panganiban also helped in carrying the scoring cudgels with six points while setter Jaja Monte did a good job controlling the pace with 13 excellent sets in 43 attempts.
Khelly Zoleta, meanwhile, delivered five points for the Junior Lady Bombers, who remain winless in four starts.
