A former member of a communist terrorist group (CTG) surrendered to authorities at the Bulacan 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company in the City of Malolos, Bulacan on February 10, 2026.
According to the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BPPO), the voluntary surrender of Ka Bogs was facilitated by the 1st PMFC led by Police Major Norheda G. Usman. Ka Bogs is a 65-year-old resident of Barangay Gatbuca in Calumpit, Bulacan.
Ka Bogs is a former member of the Rebolusyonaryong Hukbong Bayan (RHB) who voluntarily surrendered his unlicensed Caliber .38 revolver with one bullet.
The Bulacan 1st PMFC coordinated the surrender to the Malolos City Police Station, Bulacan Police Intelligence Unit, 70th Infantry Battalion ng Philippine Army, and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3.
The former CTG member is currently undergoing proper documentation and tactical debriefing to get more information that can be used for the continued operation for peace and security in Bulacan.
An initial assistance was also given to Ka Bogs as part of the program of the national government to former CTG members who voluntarily surrender and want to return to society.
Provincial Director Police Col. Angel Garcillano urged the remaining members of the armed groups to put down their arms and surrender to the authorities so that they can return to their families and ensure the peace, order and development of Bulacan.
