Davao City — Davao City 1st District Representative Paolo Duterte and PPP Partylist Rep. Harold Duterte led the distribution of emergency relief to families displaced by two separate fire incidents in the city.

The lawmakers, joined by staff from the Office of Vice Mayor Rodrigo Duterte II, provided food packs, mineral water, hot meals, and packed lunches to 48 families in Punta Dumalag, Barangay Matina Aplaya. The fire in that area broke out Sunday, 8 February.

“Whatever you need, my staff is here for you. We are here to give you help,” Paolo Duterte told the residents. He added that his office, in coordination with the PPP Partylist, would also provide school uniforms and shoes to ensure affected students can return to classes.

On the same day, the 1st Congressional District Office extended similar assistance to 57 families affected by a separate blaze in Malambuon, Ecoland, Barangay 76-A Bucana.

In total, 105 families across the two barangays received aid during the Tuesday mission. Authorities said they are still investigating the causes of both fire incidents.
