The Aboitiz Renewables, Inc., the renewable energy arm of Aboitiz Power Corporation (AboitizPower), has provided much-needed assistance to Kolehiyo ng Subic by donating 10 computer sets to the community college in Zambales.
The delivery of the computer sets was coordinated with the Office of the Congressman, aiming to enhance digital access for students from Olongapo City and other towns in the province.
Kolehiyo ng Subic currently has 7,896 students who will benefit from the donation, with College President Dr. Rosely H. Agustin emphasizing that access to technology is a necessity. She noted that it serves as a powerful tool for research, training, collaboration, and creativity.
Aboitiz Renewables Stakeholder Relations Manager Sharron Manzano said the company aims to develop the knowledge and skills of students from Olongapo and nearby towns, while supporting teachers in educating them.
“Sa ganitong paraan, naihahanda natin sila para mas maging competitive at future-ready para sa anumang larangan ang kanilang papasukin sa hinaharap,” she added.
Aboitiz Renewables, Inc. (ARI) is the holding company for Aboitiz Power Corporation’s (AboitizPower) renewable energy portfolio.
