Focus will be on four Rain or Shine players when the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) holds its All-Star Game in Candon, Ilocos Sur on 8 March.
Adrian Nocum and Gian Mamuyac had been chosen to be part of the North All-Stars while Santi Santillan and Filipino-American Caelan Tiongson will see action for the South All-Stars in the centerpiece event of the annual spectacle.
Mamuyac made the cut after the league tapped him as replacement for injured Zavier Lucero of Magnolia for the North All-Stars.
Rounding out the list for the North All-Stars are Justine Baltazar and Justin Arana of Converge, Chris Newsome and CJ Cansino of Meralco, and Don Trollano of San Miguel.
The South All-Stars also have RR Pogoy of TNT, JB Bahio of NLEX, Alec Stockton of Converge, Rey Nambatac of TNT, and Jericho Cruz of San Miguel Beer.
The starters were initially named by the league after gaining the top votes from fans online and in venue.
June Mar Fajardo of San Miguel emerged with the most votes and will play for the South All-Stars with starters RJ Abarrientos and Scottie Thompson of Barangay Ginebra, Calvin Oftana of TNT, and Robert Bolick of NLEX.
Japeth Aguilar of Barangay Ginebra will captain the North All-Stars and will play alongside Calvin Oftana and Juan Gomez de Liano of Converge, CJ Perez of San Miguel and Stephen Holt of Barangay Ginebra. MARK ESCARLOTE
