There is no better way for Luxecare, the private clinic of LoveYourself Incorporated to celebrate its sixth anniversary than opening its sixth branch in the gateway to the South, the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX).
LoveYourself’s founder Ronivin Pagtakhan explained that the decision to open a branch in PITX is rooted from the vision of an easier navigation for people, especially for those who reside in the South.
The brand also vows to successfully scale its operations without compromising quality, consistency, or the personalized client experience that has become its hallmark, centered on its core principles of “iniingatan, inaalagaan, at inaasikaso.”
Pagtakhan also announced that they will be offering free testing services for HIV, hepatitis and syphilis across all their branches.
Luxecare also offers transluxe, which progressed beyond its long-standing and initial HIV and STI testing services. In partnership with LoveYourself Inc., the clinic now provides Gender-Affirming Hormone Therapy (GAHT) consultations, ensuring that trans Filipinos receive expert, compassionate medical guidance throughout their transition journey.
Breaking the stigma
For Filipino actor and Luxecare ambassador Markki Stroem, his advocacy is rooted from his experiences in other nations where testings for sexually transmitted infections and diseases are not considered ‘taboo’ and are performed free.
Stroem highlighted that he also echoes his cause in his morning radio show by encouraging people to get tested.
“Back then it was a death sentence, now it is not,” he expressed, stating the stark difference between the past and the present.
Luxecare Senior Medical Doctor Dr. Angelo Rivera then addressed the higher detected human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cases, noting that more people are getting tested, hence, the numbers.
LuxeCare’s PITX branch is located in the Health & Wellness Area on the second floor. Other branches are along Shaw Blvd in Mandaluyong, San Mateo, Rizal and Alabang.
