GameZone brought its on-ground activations to Cebu City as it joined the celebration of the Sinulog Festival 2026, offering festivalgoers an interactive gaming experience at Fuente Osmeña Circle.
From 12 to 18 January, GameZone staged its “Game, Sinulog!” experience at the Rajah Park Hotel and Peak & Pi Cafe, where participants took part in games, challenges, and prize draws as part of the weeklong festivities. Visitors were given a “Game, Sinulog!” passport, which was stamped as they completed activities across several stations to earn points and qualify for prizes.
Three on-ground game stations were set up for participants. The first required players to take photos at the GameZone and Sinulog backdrop and post them on social media to earn points. The second featured a Ball Toss Challenge, where points were awarded based on accuracy, with higher points given for specific targets. The final station invited participants to leave written messages on a wall, earning bonus points toward their total score.
Participants who completed all stations received exclusive GameZone merchandise based on their accumulated points, including branded tote bags, shirts, activation passports, and scratch cards.
On the final day of the festival, five participants holding gold cards marked “A” and “Lucky 9” qualified for the grand draw, where they stood to win either a new iPhone 17 Pro Max or cash prizes provided by GameZone.
The on-ground activities also drew content creators, influencers, and gamers who joined the celebrations, including Awra Briguela, along with Christine Samson and Yskaela Fujimoto, as well as gaming and content personalities John Bill, Damon From Heaven, Stella Salle, Frincess Arañas, Junjun Salarzon, Shin Gonzaga, and Yolove.
GameZone, together with DigiPlus Interactive Corp., extended its presence across various Sinulog activities around the city, from street parties to the grand parade, as part of its push to engage communities through live events and interactive experiences.
Aside from festival activations, GameZone also used the event to promote its upcoming competitive gaming initiatives, including the GameZone Tour, formerly known as the Tongits Champions Cup, and the GameZone Tablegame Champions Cup, which are set to feature new seasons and additional games later in the year.
DigiPlus, which operates platforms such as BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone, said the Sinulog activation reflects its broader efforts to blend entertainment, community engagement, and digital gaming experiences across the country.
