Davao City – The Davao Combat League (DCL) Mixed Martial Arts competition will feature 13 exciting matches in its opening event on 21 February at Sta. Lucia Mall in Buhangin.

The main and co-main events will showcase Davao City’s Dave Villarias of Limitless Fitness facing Cagayan de Oro’s King Mangalili, and another featured bout between local fighter John Labang of I Flex Gym and Nathan Rey Mandunahan of CDO, respectively.

“We do promote local fighters based here in Davao in these featured bouts. We will also feature other martial arts disciplines in other matches,” said Mark Nimanand of the DCL.

The other matches will include jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, and MMA.

“The fighters will mostly come from Davao City’s Limitless Fitness and students of URCC legend Victor Torres from Cagayan de Oro,” said DCL’s Miko Ponce de Leon, adding that the officials for the bouts will be coming from Manila.
