Araneta City is rolling out a monthlong lineup of Valentine’s activities this February, transforming its malls, public spaces, hotels, and entertainment venues into themed destinations for couples, families, and solo visitors.
To mark the season of love, Gateway Mall 1 and 2, Ali Mall, and Farmers Plaza are featuring floral installations, arches, and garland wraps across the complex, accompanied by a series of Valentine’s-themed activities running through mid-February.
From 8 to 14 February, the “Endless Love Across Gateway” program will offer ready-made flower arrangements with dedication cards, while roaming cupids and horse-drawn carriage rides are set to highlight Valentine’s Day itself.
Gateway Mall 2 will host “Petals & Love” from 12 to 14 February, featuring a 360-degree camera photobooth, chocolate treats, and an interactive flower bar where visitors can create personalized arrangements. The mall will also run a Valentine’s photo contest, encouraging guests to pose at floral frames labeled “My First Date,” “Forever,” and “My Person,” and share their photos on social media using the hashtag #MomentsOfBloom.
Ali Mall will stage “A Festival of Everlasting Blooms” over the same dates, offering curated gift items such as pressed flower art, local perfumes, and flower-scented candles, along with flower-arranging activities for couples.
On 14 February, Farmers Plaza will host “Hearts & Harmonies,” featuring live performances by P-pop artists as part of Valentine’s Day celebrations.
The festivities extend to fitness and wellness with the “Run in Full Bloom” fun run on 15 February. Participants are invited to join a flower headdress contest and receive flower candies along the route.
Valentine’s offerings also extend to Araneta City’s hotels. Novotel Manila is offering themed staycation packages, a Valentine’s buffet at Food Exchange Manila, and a Lover’s Gastronomic Wellness Escape at In Balance Spa. ibis Styles Manila is featuring staycation deals, rooftop events at The Edge Skyview Bar, dinners at Le Bistro, and a Valentine’s yoga session by the pool.
Dining establishments across the complex are also introducing limited-time menu items for the season. Taco Bell is offering its Cheesy Lava Match, while Pizza Hut has rolled out its Spam Mac & Cheese pizza.
For moviegoers, Gateway Cineplex 18 is screening romantic and feel-good films throughout the Valentine’s season, including Wuthering Heights, The Loved One, Spring in Prague, and GOAT.
Araneta City said the monthlong celebration is designed to give visitors multiple ways to mark Valentine’s Day, whether through dining, music, fitness, shopping, or shared experiences.
