QCPD catches 75 violators in ‘Oplan Bulabog’ operations

Quezon Police reported that it had issued violations to 75 individuals in concurrent Oplan Bulabog operations at Sitio San Roque, Barangay Bagong Pag-asa and Barangay San Martin de Porres in Cubao this Saturday night.

Leading the taskforce in Brgy. Pag-asa was Police Brig. Gen. Randy Glenn Silvio while Deputy District Director for Administration Police Col. Joel Villanueva oversaw the officers in Barangay San Martin de Porres.

Silvio emphasized that these measures serve the purpose of mobilizing police efforts of safeguarding the city’s residents with thorough on foot patrols scouring neighborhoods and alleyways in the area.

“These operations are part of our continuing efforts to protect our communities and promote a safer environment for all residents of Quezon City, in line with the directives of the Chief, PNP, Police Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., and the Regional Director, NCRPO, Police Major Gen. Anthony Aberin,” the brigadier general stated.

An alias “Geraldine” was arrested in Sitio San Roque off the back of a theft warrant that was issued by Branch 3 of  the Metropolitan Trial Court in Dasmariñas City, Cavite. 

During the same night, a combined 28 other individuals were served Ordinance Violation Receipts for different instances of public disturbance, four motorists were handed Traffic Violation Receipts, while two individuals were identified as suspects by the district’s Investigation Solution Automatic verification (ISAV) system.

Villanueva’s group in San Martin de Porres snagged 43 individuals with various public and traffic violations, with three motorcycles being impounded under the District Traffic Enforcement Unit.
