The local government of Pasig City announced that it will provide free RFID microchipping and anti-rabies vaccinations in three barangays this week as part of a local government initiative to improve pet tracking and curb rabies cases.

The Veterinary Services Department will conduct the sessions from 9 a.m. to noon starting Monday through 11 February.

The program begins Monday at the Barangay San Antonio Hall parking area. On Tuesday, the team will move to the NAHA 12 Guyabano Extension Multi-Purpose Hall in the NAPICO area of Barangay Manggahan.

The three-day circuit concludes Wednesday at the Greenwoods Phase 4 Multi-Purpose Hall in Barangay Pinagbuhatan.

City officials have not specified a limit on the number of pets each owner may bring or the total number of slots available per site.

Residents living in barangays not included in this week’s schedule are advised to wait for future announcements.

Pet owners seeking more information may send inquiries to the Pasig City Veterinary Services Department through its official Facebook page.
