Mercedes-Benz welcomes Chinese New Year with EV warranty

DT

Mercedes-Benz Philippines is marking the Chinese New Year with a set of offers that focus on ownership, peace of mind, and everyday practicality rather than flash.

The local luxury brand is rolling out a longer warranty for its electric vehicles and cash savings for its V-Class luxury van, timed with mall displays across Metro Manila and nearby regions.

Starting this season, the brand now includes a five-year warranty across its fully electric EQ lineup. This covers all battery electric models currently sold locally and applies to purchases made during the Chinese New Year offer period.

The EQ range spans compact crossovers, midsize sedans, and full-size luxury models. Buyers can choose from the EQA and EQB on the smaller end, step up to the EQE sedan or EQE SUV, or go all the way to the EQS and EQS SUV.

The lineup gives customers flexibility depending on space needs and driving habits, whether that means city use, family trips, or longer drives out of town.

For many Filipino buyers still weighing the jump to electric, warranty coverage often sits high on the list of concerns. By extending protection to five years, Mercedes-Benz is placing emphasis on long term ownership confidence rather than short term incentives.

The brand said the coverage is meant to support customers who want to shift to electric without worrying about unexpected costs early in the ownership cycle.

Alongside the electric vehicle offer, Mercedes-Benz is also giving the V 220 luxury van a price nudge through special cash savings. The V-Class has become a familiar sight among families, business owners, and executives who want space without giving up comfort.

With its flexible seating, wide cabin, and calm ride, it continues to appeal to buyers who use one vehicle for both work and family duties.

Both the five-year EQ warranty and the V-Class cash discount are available from 8 to 28 February 2026.

To bring the celebration closer to the public, Mercedes-Benz is also setting up a series of mall displays. The V-Class was showcased at Lucky Chinatown Mall, where visitors could step inside the van and get a feel for its interior space and features.

South of Metro Manila, Alabang Town Center hosted a display that featured the EQB alongside the V-Class. The pairing puts an electric SUV and a luxury van side by side, giving shoppers a clear look at how different needs are being addressed under the same brand.
