Aboitiz Construction was recently honored as a private sector partner by the Department of Education (DepEd) Region III, receiving a plaque of recognition during the agency’s Regional Stakeholders’ Appreciation Program on 27 January 2026 for its strong support of AuroraPH — Aboitiz Foundation’s flagship program that brings solar energy and satellite internet connectivity to last-mile schools.
With the theme “Strong Collaboration Creates High Impact and Progress,” the event held at the Hacienda Gracia Hotel and Resort in Lubao, Pampanga recognized the vital contributions of local government units, non-government organizations, and private sector partners in advancing quality basic education across the region.
The recognition highlights Aboitiz Construction’s continued involvement in education initiatives in Tarlac City, including Brigada Eskwela projects across seven public schools last year to help improve learning environments.
Through AuroraPH, a five- kilowatt peak solar panel system was installed in a public high school in August 2025, providing reliable and sustainable power to support digital learning and classroom activities. The initiative reflects Aboitiz Foundation’s commitment to expanding access to quality education in underserved communities by enabling clean energy and connectivity.

The regional accolade follows an Outstanding Stakeholder award received by Aboitiz Construction from the DepEd Tarlac City Division on 5 December 2025, reinforcing the impact of strong public-private collaboration in supporting education.
