The 2025 GMA Gala — marking GMA Network’s 75th year and Sparkle GMA Artist Center’s 30th anniversary — earned major recognition at the TikTok Live Awards 2025, taking home the Digital Spotlight Award after racking up an impressive one billion views online.
The TikTok Live Awards honor creators and organizations that leave a strong footprint on the platform. Sparkle’s win highlighted the shared creativity, authenticity, and influence of its artists, whose content generated massive engagement worldwide. The star-studded gala not only dazzled viewers across the globe but also stood out for its purpose-driven message and advocacy.
The award was accepted by Sparkle senior manager and head of PR, Events and Digital Roche Tuazon-Chavez, together with Sparkle PR manager Caiel Pajarillo. In her message, Tuazon-Chavez expressed gratitude, saying the recognition belonged to the artists, fans, creators and partners whose continued support fuels Sparkle’s success.
More than a milestone celebration, the GMA Gala served as a platform for strengthening ties among GMA and Sparkle artists, clients and partners, opening doors for future large-scale collaborations. Beyond its viral success, the event also raised P2.5 million for the GMA Kapuso Foundation.
