BDO is offering new retail and dining incentives for credit cardholders as part of efforts to boost consumer spending in the first quarter of the year.
Under its latest retail promotion, cardholders can avail themselves of a buy-now-pay-later option with zero percent interest for up to six months when using BDO Credit Cards at select footwear, sportswear, and fashion retailers.
On top of the installment offer, shoppers can enjoy a 10-percent discount on regular-priced items at participating stores, including Foot Locker, Converse, Planet Sports, Dr. Martens, New Balance, Skechers, and other partner brands. The promo runs until 28 February 2026.
In a separate dining campaign, BDO Unibank is also offering a 40-percent discount at Yellow Cab for credit cardholders who dine in or order takeout. The offer applies to a minimum single receipt purchase of P2,500, with discounts capped at P2,000 per transaction. The dining promo is available from Monday to Friday, starting 2 February until 13 March 2026.
The dual promotions reflect continued competition among banks to encourage card usage amid easing inflation and improving consumer confidence. Retailers and restaurants, meanwhile, stand to benefit from higher foot traffic and increased transaction values driven by installment plans and limited-time discounts.
