The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has pitched the Clark Freeport as the premier aviation and logistics aerotropolis in Southeast Asia during the Singapore Airshow 2026 at the Changi Exhibition Centre in Singapore on 3 February 2026.
According to BCDA Vice President for Investment Promotions and Marketing Erwin Kenneth R. Peralta, “This opportunity is particularly valuable to us, as it brings us face to face with global industry leaders, technology innovators, and policymakers.”
The said presentation was in collaboration with its subsidiaries Poro Point Management Corporation and Clark International Airport Corporation, and partner operator Luzon International Premier Airport Development (LIPAD).
Peralta added, “It enables us to showcase our capabilities, gain insight into emerging trends, and explore practical solutions that enhance airport operations, infrastructure development, safety, and sustainability.”
Philippine delegates formally inaugurated the Philippine Pavilion, reflecting the country’s efforts to enhance its aviation and tourism standing on the global stage and attract strategic investments.
As Asia’s flagship aerospace and defense exhibition, the Singapore Airshow serves as a key platform for building partnerships and advancing the global aviation industry.
The event was attended by a high-level delegation, including Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Medardo G. Macaraig and Florian Gottein, Executive Director of the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines.
Representing the government’s strategic interests were CAAP Director General Lt. Gen. Raul L. del Rosario, and Assistant Secretary Judilyn Quiachon of the Tourism Regulation and Coordination Committee. Rounding out the group was Richard Nuttall, President of Philippine Airlines.
