The Asian Cultural Council Philippines Foundation, Inc. will hold its annual benefit art auction on 14 February 2026 at Leon Gallery in Makati City.
Staged in partnership with Leon Gallery, the auction, titled Art for Cultural Exchange will feature a curated selection of works by established and emerging Filipino artists and will open a series of fundraising initiatives for the ACC Philippines Fellowship Program.
Leon Gallery supports ACC Philippines in advancing artistic practice and international cultural exchange, with both institutions committed to scholarship and creative development.
Proceeds from the auction will support Filipino artists, scholars, and arts professionals who will receive ACC fellowships for research, creative work, graduate study, and cultural exchange projects in the Philippines and abroad.
Fellows who will benefit from the ACC Philippines Fellowship Program fall into three categories.
Graduate fellows will pursue full master’s degrees in the United States. These include Aina Ramolete, who will take an MA in Puppet Arts at the University of Connecticut, and Alain de Asis, who will pursue an MA in Music, specializing in Violin Performance, at the Jacobs School of Music of Indiana University.
Six-month New York fellows will undertake short-term fellowships focused on professional development and research. These include Joyce Sahagun Garcia and Maria Estela Paiso in film, video, and photography, and Karl Jingco in theater.
Incoming grantees who are set to begin their fellowships in the United States include J-Mee Katanyag (theater), Joed Balsamo (music), and Ma. Alexa Andrea Torte (dance).
Bidding will begin at 2:00 PM at Leon Gallery, Eurovilla 1, Rufino corner Legazpi Streets, Legazpi Village, Makati City.
The Asian Cultural Council Auction invites collectors, patrons, and supporters to come together in support of a cause that strengthens the cultural ecosystem and supports the next generation of Filipino artists.
