Therma Mobile, Inc., a subsidiary of Aboitiz Power Corporation, was recognized as the top real property taxpayer in Navotas City for the ninth consecutive year, while also ranking 11th in local business tax payments.

The recognition was conferred during the city’s 119th Navotas Day celebration and was presented by Navotas City Mayor John Rey Tiangco and Vice Mayor Tito Sanchez.

The awards were received by AboitizPower’s Transition Business Group Regional Chief Operating Officer Lito Morta and Assistant Vice President for Corporate Services Lou Deligencia.

“Your contribution is more than just a tax,” Tiangco said, noting that the company’s payments help fund social programs and key city projects, including improvements to the Navotas City Hospital.

“It is a symbol of hope and a solid foundation that paves the way for a more prosperous future for every Navoteño. Thank you for your continued support to our City.”

Morta expressed gratitude for the recognition, citing the company’s responsibility as a corporate citizen and its role in supporting economic growth and social development in Navotas.

Therma Mobile operates four barge-mounted oil-fired power plants at the Navotas Fishport in Manila, serving as an ancillary service provider with a total installed capacity of 241 megawatts.

The company also implements corporate social responsibility programs in Navotas City, including medical missions, livelihood initiatives, education programs, and assistance during times of calamity.
