Award-winning singer and television host Kelly Clarkson announced that she will step away from her daytime program, The Kelly Clarkson Show, after the current season, citing the need to prioritize her children.

In a message shared on social media, Clarkson described the decision as one of the hardest she has made in her career, following seven successful years hosting the show.

“Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives,” she said.

Clarkson assured fans that her departure from daytime television does not signal a retreat from music.

“This isn’t a goodbye. I’ll still be making music,” she said.

The singer, who has long balanced motherhood with recording, touring and hosting duties, acknowledged that the demands of a daily talk show had become increasingly difficult.

“My family needs more of me right now,” she said. “And I want to be fully present for them.”

Following her announcement, fans and fellow celebrities flooded social media with messages of support, praising Clarkson for her openness and for choosing family amid the pressures of a high-profile career.
