Kia Philippines recorded a 16.7 percent year-on-year increase in retail sales in 2025, posting 7,810 units sold compared with 6,692 units in 2024. The result placed the brand among the fastest-growing mainstream carmakers in the local market.

Executives attributed the performance to steady demand across key models and stronger engagement with customers through the dealer network.

ACMobility chief executive Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala said the results showed how buyers responded to Kia’s current lineup and ownership support.

Managing director Jay Lopez said the growth came from consistent execution across sales and service. He added that Filipino motorists paid closer attention to ownership experience alongside price and features. According to Lopez, the brand spent the year strengthening dealer operations and customer touchpoints.

Two models accounted for much of the sales growth. The Kia Carnival ranked second in the premium midsize MPV segment after posting a 30 percent increase from the previous year. The model continued to attract families and corporate users who needed space and comfort for daily travel and long trips.

The Kia Sonet’s sales rose 54 percent year on year, placing it second in the entry subcompact SUV segment. The Sonet competed in one of the country’s most crowded categories. Kia also introduced the Sonet K Style Edition during the year, a design option aimed at younger buyers.

The company also expanded its powertrain offerings in 2025 as the lineup now includes gasoline, electric, and turbo hybrid models. Hybrid versions of the Kia Sorento and Carnival helped attract buyers who wanted better fuel efficiency without switching fully to electric vehicles.

Kia Philippines received recognition for customer experience and dealer performance. The brand earned a Sales Customer Satisfaction Significant Improvement Award from Kia Asia Pacific.

Kia Pasig was named Global Best Dealer for 2025 for its performance in sales processes and service quality.

Kia Philippines ended the year with 40 dealerships nationwide. It plans to expand its lineup further in 2026 while continuing to improve customer support and accessibility across the network.
