(January 31 2026) The ongoing construction of the MRT7 at North Edsa in Quezon City, Parts of EDSA near West and North Avenue in Quezon City will be temporarily closed to traffic beginning Feb. 1, as part of construction works for the Metro Rail Transit Line 7 (MRT-7), to install tower support systems and lift massive steel components that connect to the North EDSA turnback track. The closure is scheduled from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., but portions of EDSA-North Avenue will face round-the-clock lane reductions to accommodate the construction of these structures.
