The Land Transportation Office (LTO) impounded one motorcycle involved in a “Superman stunt” along Commonwealth Avenue and revoked one driver’s license over a viral video.
The LTO said two riders performed the stunt, but only one motorcycle was registered. Investigation showed the bike had been lent by a friend and used by the friend’s son.
Authorities found four individuals involved, two of them minors. Only one had a valid license.
LTO chief Assistant Secretary Markus Lacanilao said:
“This incident shows we need unity among parents, authorities, and the community to ensure traffic laws are followed and to protect everyone’s safety.”
“We will also pursue possible cases against those involved and anyone who tried to hide evidence, such as chopping the motorcycle,” he added.
LTO warned that such stunts violate traffic laws and urged parents to monitor their children.
