There’s something so relaxing about sipping a good cup of coffee while you’re enjoying Baguio’s cold weather.

Along the scenic curve of Outlook Drive of barangay Gibraltar, Coffee Project Bern has carved out a welcoming pause in Baguio City’s ever-evolving café landscape — one that invites guests to slow down and stay awhile.

Opened in 2023, the café has drawn both residents and visitors not only for its coffee and comfort food, but for the atmosphere it cultivates. Its rustic, cabin-inspired interiors echo the character of the “City of Pines,” with warm wood finishes, muted tones, and shelves lined with books that quietly encourage lingering moments. It is the kind of space where conversations stretch, pages turn, and time feels less urgent.

Stepping outside, guests are met with al fresco seating that frames Baguio at its best. Cool mountain air, towering pine trees and glimpses of misty slopes set the tone, making even a simple cup of coffee feel like part of the highland experience.

The menu balances familiarity with indulgence. Coffee Project Bern offers a classic selection of café staples alongside morning specials for early risers. Coffee, of course, anchors the experience, complemented by Bern-exclusive drinks designed for the city’s cooler climate. Highlights include the Campfire Chocolate, Tsokolate at Keso, Chocolate Matcha, Pure Matcha and the comforting Tsokolate Batirol — rich, nostalgic beverages that pair naturally with the café’s cozy setting.

Coffee Project Bern is located next to Bern Baguio, an upscale four-tower residential complex developed by Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc. Set in Baguio’s misty highlands, the area is defined by rolling forested hills, cool mountain breezes, towering pine trees and panoramic views that capture the city’s timeless charm. Under its premium residential brand, Brittany Corp., Vista Land is crafting a Swiss-themed neighborhood along Outlook Drive, designed to offer a calm yet sophisticated retreat for future homeowners.

Located at 48 Outlook Drive, Purok 6, Barangay Gibraltar, Coffee Project Bern is open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. The café feels like a natural extension of its surroundings — a place where coffee, calm and Baguio’s mountain charm converge effortlessly.
