Filipino culture is taking center stage in the local iGaming industry as Bloomberry’s online platform, megaFUNalo!, launched Gioco Arcade.
The PAGCOR-licensed online gaming platform introduced a lineup of Pinoy-themed digital arcade games on 26 January, designed to celebrate Filipino creativity and deliver locally inspired entertainment to Filipino players.
Gioco Arcade features fast-paced, visually engaging, and culturally inspired gameplay experiences, all offered under megaFUNalo!’s PAGCOR-licensed operations to ensure a secure, compliant, and trusted environment for players.
The iconic jeepney comes to life through vibrant visuals in Jeepney Go, a beginner-friendly game accompanied by the theme song “Larga” by Original Pilipino Music icon and brand ambassador Ogie Alcasid.
Also joining the lineup is Cash Cash Fiesta, which highlights Filipino culture through festive colors and celebratory visuals inspired by local street fairs and community gatherings.
Two additional titles—Tuktuk Gold and Slice n Go—are set for release soon, adding more variety to the Gioco Arcade collection.
“Filipino creativity is vibrant, playful, and deeply rooted in everyday life,” said Cyrus Sherafat, Executive Vice President and Head of Gaming at megaFUNalo!.
“With Gioco Arcade, we’re bringing that spirit into our games and offering players experiences that feel both exciting and familiar, all within a licensed and trusted platform,” he added.
Chief Executive Officer Maricar Nepomuceno shared the company’s broader vision with DAILY TRIBUNE.
“Right now, it’s not just for Filipinos. What we’re trying to promote is Filipino development—not only in the Philippines, but eventually on a global scale,” she said.
“If you see the kind of games we’re developing, they’re very unique—one of a kind. I would say they’re best in class,” she added.
With Filipino identity and culture at the core of its games, the partnership between megaFUNalo! and Gioco Arcade positions local concepts for a global audience while reinforcing the platform’s role in uplifting homegrown creativity within a fully licensed and regulated environment.
