Malabon job fair offers 7K jobs

At least 40 companies offered 7,000 job vacancies to local residents Saturday during the the local government of Malabon City’s first “Mega” job fair and livelihood training event of 2026.

The event, held at Malabon City Square, was a joint project of Mayor Jeannie Sandoval and the Trabaho Partylist. The fair targeted a wide range of industries, including maritime opportunities such as seaman positions offered by United Philippine Lines.

“As early as January, we have focused on providing opportunities for job seekers to improve their lives and the lives of their families,” Sandoval said.

According to the Public Employment Service Office, available positions included engineers, nurses, customer service representatives, machine operators, electricians, and delivery crews.

Other openings ranged from ambassadors and clerks to production workers and merchandisers.

The fair also featured a “one-stop shop” for government services. Applicants were able to process documents with the Philippine Statistics Authority, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, Social Security System, and the Land Transportation Office, among other agencies.
