Male treatments a rising segment in aesthetic medicine

Beauty is not exclusive to women, and nowadays, we are seeing a quietly rising segment in the aesthetic medicine industry. Men, it appears, are just as concerned as women about achieving some form of symmetry to their looks, consulting aesthetic doctors for solutions.

For men, the jaw is the most common enhancement sought by clients, according to Life Aesthetic Clinic, which has a menu of services designed specifically for male facial aesthetics.

One of its most in-demand procedures is “Sexy Jaw,” a treatment tailored to male facial structure, focusing on definition and balance rather than dramatic alteration. The goal, according to the clinic, is to enhance natural features while maintaining a masculine appearance.

“Men approach aesthetics very differently,” explains aesthetic physician Dr. Cyril Mitchel Agan, co-owner of Lift Aesthetic Clinic. “They’re not looking to change how they look — they want to look more decisive, more put-together, more confident. The jawline plays a big role in that.”

For many male patients, a defined jawline is associated with confidence and presence. As attitudes toward grooming and self-care continue to change, aesthetic treatments are increasingly seen as part of overall personal upkeep rather than vanity.

AETHETICS isn’t about changing who you are, it’s about enhancing what’s already there.

Patients typically seek subtle refinements that result in a cleaner, more structured look without drawing attention to the procedure itself. This approach has appealed to both local professionals and overseas clients who schedule treatments during short visits to Manila.

“Most of our male patients don’t want anyone to know they’ve had something done,” says Jan Raymond Conadera, co-owner of Lift Aesthetic Clinic. “They’re investing in how they present themselves, not for attention, but for confidence.”

MODERN self-care includes looking as confident as you feel.

Male aesthetic treatments require a different approach, particularly in terms of facial anatomy and proportion. Lift has adjusted its techniques accordingly, prioritizing symmetry and structure while preserving masculine features. Consultations are conducted with an emphasis on discretion and efficiency, reflecting the preferences of its predominantly male clientele.

As interest in male aesthetics continues to grow, clinics offering specialized services are playing a larger role in shaping the market. Lift’s focus on male-oriented treatments highlights a broader shift in the industry, where aesthetic care for men is becoming increasingly mainstream and deliberate.

Lift Aesthetic Clinic, which currently has two locations (Pasig and Bonifacio Global City) is known for bringing the brand Aptos to the Philippines, which specializes in minimally invasive threads and methods of face and body treatment.
