Singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor and her husband, actor Daryl Sabara, have welcomed their third child, a baby girl named Mikey Moon Trainor, born via surrogate on 18 January 2026.

The couple announced the birth through a joint Instagram post, sharing photos from the hospital and expressing gratitude to their surrogate and medical team. “Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally made it to the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate,” they wrote, adding that surrogacy was the safest option for growing their family after extensive medical discussions.

Trainor and Sabara, who married in 2018, are already parents to two sons—Riley, 4, and Barry, 2. The couple revealed that their children were involved in naming their new sister, with Riley and Barry choosing Mikey’s middle name.

In their announcement, the pair said they are “over the moon in love” with their daughter and plan to spend time privately as a family. Sabara also shared images from the birth on his Instagram Stories.

Trainor has previously spoken about how motherhood reshaped her life and career. In a February 2025 interview, she said becoming a mother gave her career “a whole reboot,” adding that parenting motivated her to become the best version of herself.

The singer is emotional with the birth of her new baby daughter, thanking their surrogate and calling her a "superwoman."
