In a seemingly never-ending cycle of sightings that were not validated by videos or photos, controversial couple Kathryn Bernardo and Lucena Mayor Mark Alcala were reportedly seen recently dining in a steak house.
The couple, the grapevine goes, dined at a private room located at the second floor of the restaurant.
A photo surfaced in one website were Bernardo was seen posing with the resto’s staff.
It was deduced in the website report that Mayor Alcala was with Bernardo during the private dinner. But as usual, he did not make himself available for the photo-op.
With this, it has become increasingly challenging for fans and netizens to pin down the two as lovers as they were bereft of physical evidence by which they could use to validate their true relationship.
But incessant and muted conversations, rumors of their sighting seem to have kept the clandestine romance afloat.
In a recent website post, Bernardo was photographed with Alcala’s sister. Said photo was taken during a yoga class they both attended.

Barbie Imperial and Richard Gutierrez were seen a couple of times in the past, sparking rumors of relationship.
In the project announcement of Gutierrez’s new action drama series with Gerald Anderson, Blood vs Duty, Imperial revealed the status of her relationship with the former Incognito actor.
“Can I just say that we weren’t hiding, we just choose to have a private relationship ‘coz we know na ayaw namin ng (we don’t want), even I, what people don’t know they can’t ruin,” Imperial told ABS-CBN entertainment correspondent MJ Felipe in an exclusive interview.
Gutierrez echoed the same sentiment: “I agree from the beginning, ganun talaga (it is really like that). We want to keep things private. Mas relaxed ‘yung ganun, mas gusto namin yung ganun (It is more relaxed like that. We prefer it like that).”
Imperial shared Gutierrez’s statement in the past: “Sabi nga niya (Richard) sa isang interview ni Tito Ogie (Diaz), (Just like what Richard told Ogie Diaz in his interview), what you see is what you get? Yeah, ‘yun na “yun.”
Romance rumor started when Gutiertez and Imperial were spotted together while attending a birthday party in a gastro pub in Alabang. Then netizens noticed them being together in a gym.
When Imperial celebrated her birthday last year, Gutierrez was present. And when Raymond Gutierrez organized a Halloween Ball, Gutierrez and Imperial graced the occasion, she as a siren and he as a Two-Faced character.
