Amid a road trip by Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Vince Dizon in Bicol, where he experienced a shaking bridge, a partylist representative called for a ban on political dynasties and an investigation into infrastructure corruption.

Assistant Minority Leader and Kabataan Partylist Rep. Atty. Renee Co said roads are deteriorating due to the connivance of corrupt agencies and political dynasties.

“Public service is being neglected since the position or political throne are being passed on to the next of kin. Anti-political dynasty should be passed without being emasculated,” Co said.

She said flood control projects are only the tip of the iceberg, adding that all infrastructure projects should be investigated because of decades of corruption.

“How did the Palace know that the investigation of the ICI is about to be finished. If they will stop there is a need for the public or the Filipinos to looked into every project in their own areas,” Co said.
