More beneficiaries received housing units under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program following the inauguration of a modern condominium-type housing project in Bocaue, Bulacan.
The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development and the Pag-IBIG Fund on Saturday inaugurated the Bocaue Bulacan Manor in Barangay Batia, marking another milestone in the government’s effort to deliver safe, accessible, and dignified housing to Filipino families.
Jose Ramon Aliling and Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene Acosta led the ceremony, together with local government and DHSUD officials.
The project’s initial phase will benefit about 1,200 individuals, while the entire development is expected to serve up to 12,000 individuals once all buildings are completed.
Bocaue Bulacan Manor is designed as a modern, condominium-style community featuring 11 mid-rise residential buildings with more than 4,000 housing units. The development is among the vertical housing projects under the Expanded 4PH Program, which aims to expand access to affordable housing nationwide.
Tower 1 of the project has been completed, with 364 housing units now ready for turnover to qualified beneficiaries. During the event, Pag-IBIG Fund distributed Notices of Approval to qualified applicants, marking a key step toward home ownership.
The project is built as a people-centered community with amenities that include a swimming pool, basketball court, parks and playgrounds, nursery homes, a clubhouse, a multipurpose building, parking spaces, commercial areas, and a tricycle terminal.
“Katulad ng ibang developments sa ilalim ng Expanded 4PH, kumpleto sa amenities ang proyektong ito. Alinsunod sa utos ng Pangulong Marcos Jr., hindi lang basta matibay na tahanan ang ating binubuo kundi mga inklusibo at sustainable communities,” Aliling said.
The housing project is open to qualified beneficiaries even if they are not residents of Bocaue. Interested Bocaue residents may coordinate with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office for application assistance.
The local government unit also committed to supporting future residents by ensuring access to transportation, food supply, and nearby health services.
Eduardo Robles said the project goes beyond the completion of housing structures.
"Today marks an important milestone, the turnover of these housing units in Bocaue. This moment is more than giving out keys. Ito po ay pagkakaloob ng ligtas, maayos, at dignified na tahanan sa ating mga kababayan," Robles said.
He added that the Expanded 4PH Program reflects a people-centered mission under the President’s directive.
"Sa ilalim ng direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., ang Expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino o 4PH Program ay may simpleng layunin: to give every Filipino family a home they can truly call their own. More than concrete, roof and walls, these homes are foundations for dignified lives—building stronger families and communities," he said.
Aliling thanked partners and stakeholders for their support and reiterated DHSUD’s commitment to delivering safe, decent, and affordable housing.
"Ang DHSUD ay patuloy na maghahatid ng ligtas at disenteng pabahay sa ilalim ng Expanded 4PH. Ang bawat proyektong tulad nito ay patunay ng pagtupad sa pangako ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Marcos Jr. na maghatid ng pag-asa, seguridad, at mas may dignidad na pamumuhay para sa bawat pamilyang Pilipino," he said.
